There is a public hearing scheduled for the March 8, 2021 City Council meeting. Anyone wishing to speak for or against the proposed Special Used Permit/amendment to official zoning map may do so by appearing in the Preston Room of City Hall at 340 Main Street, Lilburn. Staff members will be present to assist those wishing to speak via a Zoom connection to the Mayor and City Council from the Preston Room. In order to comply with social distancing guidelines issued by the CDC, the maximum capacity of the meeting room will be limited to the first 40 members of the public to arrive at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 8, 2021.

PH Item 1 - Approval of Ordinance 2021-563 approving SUP-2021-01 to allow a 12,000 square foot Tire and Accessory Store and Service Center at 710 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd.

The Planning Department received an application from 710 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd to allow a 12,000 square foot Tire and Accessory Store and Service Center on the property that is zoned commercial business (CB).

The Planning Commission held a hearing on February 25, 2021, to review SUP-2021-01. Lilburn Police do not anticipate any adverse impacts, and the Planning Commission recommended and approved the conditions attached.

Agenda Item 1 - Approval of Sole Source Purchase of Water Play structures, systems, design, and freight to Aquatix Interactive Fountain

Due to the custom and specialty nature of the Interactive Fountain products, staff recommends that the Mayor and Council designate a sole source purchase as defined in Sec. 16.8(d)of the City Purchasing Policy. It is anticipated that the total purchase of Water Play structures, systems, design and shipping will be approximately $195,015.00.

All installation and trade items will be bid per City Purchasing guidelines.

Request $45,000 of Public Art Fund  regarding specialty bucket art feature of the system
