The Governor’s 4/3/20 Shelter in Place Order preempts all local emergency orders related to COVID -19. The State of Georgia is now solely responsible for all aspects of implementation and enforcement of the referenced Order. The State Order also supersedes and suspends all previous county and city orders related to COVID – 19. Governor Brian Kemp has extended the State of Emergency to now expire on May 13, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. He has also extended the Shelter in Place Order to now expire on April 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
