RECAP FROM THE 7/21 TOWN HALL
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mayor’s Town Hall on Monday, July 21, at Lilburn City Hall. The evening focused on public safety, with Lilburn Police Chief Chris Dusik providing updates on crime trends, community policing efforts, and the department’s ongoing commitment to keeping Lilburn a safe place to live, work, and play. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in open dialogue with city leadership—a hallmark of the town hall format. We appreciate your participation and look forward to future opportunities to connect with our community!

"The Bus": Fresh Look, Same Flavor
Have you seen the new and improved look at Agavero Parkside? Make sure you come check out "The Bus". This iconic spot just got a glow-up, thanks in part to support from the Lilburn Downtown Development Authority (DDA). To help make the renovation possible for Agavero Parkside, the DDA reduced rent for several months—an investment in both the property and the vibrant Old Town experience we’re building together. We’re proud to support local businesses that bring life, color, and community to Lilburn. Swing by and check out the new look, grab your favorite tacos, and enjoy the view!

Lilburn Community Garden Project Update
Big things are blooming at the Lilburn Community Garden! Thanks to a SPLOST-funded beautification project, the front entrance has been completely transformed with a charming brick and split rail fence, a new arbor for entry to the garden area, a repurposed structure for the original garden sign, native plants, fruit trees, and refreshed raised beds. Crews also added new pathways, pavers around the American flag, and upgrades to the gazebo and parking area. A shaded seating area with lighting and sail covers is coming soon!
This project celebrates sustainability, community, and local food—right in the heart of Lilburn. Stop by and take a stroll through this beautiful public space, where 47 rentable garden beds, a hoop house, and even beehives help support the Lilburn Co-op and local growers.
