The City of Lilburn is pleased to announce that it is launching its new website as of 5 p.m., Oct. 2.
The website, www.cityoflilburn.com, just underwent an eight-month redesign process with CivicPlus, a website provider for 1,200 governments internationally. The website now offers an easy way to request city services, as well as a cleaner, easier layout to navigate.
“The City of Lilburn redesigned the website as part of our commitment to providing excellent customer service. This new technology makes it a breeze for citizens to find information and conduct city business online,” said City Manager Bill Johnsa.
Citizens and their local government will be able to communicate more conveniently and effectively through some of the new featured modules:
• Citizen Request Tracker: Request yard debris pick-up, report a needed street repair, or make the city aware of any issue that needs attention. You can even send the City a picture of the problem using your iPhone.
• Notify Me: Sign up to receive the city’s e-newsletter, event information, police bulletins, emergency alerts, bid postings, council agendas, and much more, according to your interests.
• Social Media: Share information easily with your friends and family using social media integrated with the city website.
• ePay: Pay a citation online without having to make a trip to Municipal Court.
“With the new website, the City of Lilburn will be able to increase its community engagement and enhance the way residents and businesses communicate with their local government,” said Doug Stacks, Director of Planning and Economic Development.
