There are several locations in Lilburn to recycle your Christmas tree. Bring your "naked" tree to the site of the former city maintenance shop, located at 107 Railroad Ave. across from City Hall. Trees may be dropped off near the concrete blocks in the parking lot any time until Jan. 31, 2015.
The trees will be chipped into mulch, which will be available for public self-pickup in Lilburn City Park next to the pavilion. Contact Public Works at 770-638-2196 with questions.
Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful invites residents to drop off their live Christmas trees between Dec. 26 and Jan. 16 at the following local fire departments:
•Fire Station 2, 12 Harmony Grove Rd., 30047
•Fire Station 3, 4394 Five Forks-Trickum Rd., 30047
•Fire Station 22, 2180 Stone Dr., 30047
