[ARCHIVED] Concerts scheduled for Lilburn City Park

For immediate release

May 18, 2016

The City of Lilburn will offer three free concerts this summer in Lilburn City Park. The season kicks off June 3 with DEPARTURE.

DEPARTURE has become the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation, replicating the look, sound, and feel of the original 80s rock super group.

GLOW will return to Sparkle in the Park on July 4. Based out of Atlanta, GLOW's vibrant, versatile show will keep everyone entertained.

On Aug. 5, 20 Ride will bring American County/Folk rock music to Lilburn City Park. A Zac Brown Tribute band, 20 Ride will play all the hits and more!

Each concert will offer food and adult beverages for purchase. Attendees are advised to come early and bring a lawn chair or blanket to reserve a spot on the lawn. Coolers are welcome but no outside alcohol.

Parking is available at City Hall, at the Railroad Avenue lot across from the tennis courts, and at several offsite parking lots. Please check the event listings at for detailed information.

Other summer events in Lilburn City Park include Moonlight Movies, Food Truck Tuesdays, Sprinkler Days, Peachtree Reject 10K/5K, and National Night Out.
