LILBURN – On Saturday, Oct. 8, early holiday shoppers can find more than 150 vendors at the Lilburn Daze Arts and Crafts Festival in Lilburn City Park. Unique toys, jewelry, garden art, pottery, baskets, wire sculptures, bottle art, wooden Adirondack chairs, and other handmade treasures will be sold at the event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This will be the 43rd year that the GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club has hosted the festival in coordination with the City of Lilburn. The proceeds benefit the community in the form of college scholarships, support for school programs, local beautification efforts, and so much more.
The event includes all the fun activities and goodies you expect of a traditional fall festival. Kettle corn, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, plus a variety of lunch offerings will be available. An expanded Kids’ Zone will keep little ones entertained while parents shop.
“You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have fun for the whole family at Lilburn Daze,” festival chair Dianna Carson said. “We want it to be a fun event for the entire community to enjoy. We offer many free activities for the children, like free train rides, a cupcake walk, and make-and-take art and wood-working projects.”
