The Lilburn Police Department is collecting unwrapped toys for pediatric cancer patients through Dec. 3. For A Day Foundation will use the gifts to lift the spirits of seriously and terminally ill children at Children's Heathcare of Atlanta hospitals.
The Police Department has set-up a collections box inside the police lobby at 76 Main St., Lilburn, GA 30047.
The For a Day Foundation is a national non-profit organization developed to raise the self-esteem and self-confidence of girls and boys with cancer. The Atlanta chapter does all programming at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals in the AFLAC Cancer Center. The nonprofit is run by volunteers and 100 percent of fundraising goes to the kids.
