City of Lilburn approves Change in Conditions 2021-01

The Lilburn City Council approved Ordinance No. 2021-571, approving the change in conditions to SUP-07-07 as conditions apply to remaining 0.7718-acre “commercial property” zoned MU further described as parcel 6135 385 in Town Center Overlay District. Vote: 3-0.

City Council approves Special Use Permit 2021-03 

The Lilburn City Council approved Ordinance No. 2021-572, approving SUP-2021-03, allowing limited “Auto/Truck Services” within property of 0.66 acres zoned CB at 4275 Lawrenceville Highway being identified as District 6, Land Lot 149, Parcel 118. Vote: 3-0.

City Council approves of text amendments to home occupations and vehicle storage

Lilburn City Council approved Ordinance No. 2021-573, approving text amendments to the Lilburn Zoning Ordinance, Art5icle 7, Sections 716. Home Occupations, and 733. Vehicle Storage. Vote: 3-0.

Other Business and Upcoming Events  

  • Lilburn City Council approved the proposed Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of Lilburn and Comcast. Vote 3-0.
  • Lilburn City Council approve approve Resolution No. 2021-05 amending the 2020 Gwinnett County Hazard Mitigation Plan with the addition of action item 7.2.15. Further, to authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution and associated documents on behalf of the City of Lilburn. Vote: 3-0
  • Lilburn City Council approved approve Resolution No. 2021-06, a resolution imposing a moratorium barring the acceptance of applications for small box retail stores in the City of Lilburn until December 31, 2022. Vote 3-0.
