City of Lilburn National Night Out

Join us in Lilburn City Park on Tuesday, August 2 for our 7th annual National Night Out! We plan to continue with the event in spite of the weather, but we will pause activities if a thunderstorm passes through.

Join us for Lilburn's National Night Out in Lilburn City Park on Tuesday, August 2 from 6 - 8:30 p.m.  This year marks the 7th anniversary for this FREE event! **We plan to continue with the event in spite of the weather, but we will pause activities if a thunderstorm passes through. 

Parking is available near City Park and at First Baptist Church, located at 285 Main St. NW. A shuttle will run from First Baptist Church to City Park. 

National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to generate citizen support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and build police-community relationships. Lilburn's 2015 National Night Out event was awarded 27th place out of 220 similarly-sized cities nationwide. Click here to learn more about National Night Out

2016 Activities: 
(All food and activities are free, except the hot air balloon rides.)
  • Georgia Law Enforcement Memorial Wall sponsored by Statewide Wrecker Service 
  • Tethered hot air balloon rides ($10 adults, $5 kids -- cash only -- weather dependent)  
  • K-9 demonstration (at 8 p.m.) from Lawrenceville Police Department
  • Helicopter from Georgia Department of Natural Resources
  • Bomb Squad vehicle and equipment from Gwinnett County Police Department 
  • Smokehouse and fire engine from Gwinnett Fire & Emergency Services
  • A variety of patrol vehicles from various agencies
  • Field games with Lilburn police officers
  • Selfies with the Police Chief
  • Drunk goggles obstacle course
  • Sidewalk chalk drawing
  • Health clinic
  • Free food samples from local restaurants
