Proper disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW) such as cleaners, paints, pesticides, used oil and batteries can prevent pollution from reaching City of Lilburn’s waterways and causing harm to the environment. When HHW enters a storm drain, it drains directly to local streams and lakes without receiving any treatment.
