Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department is responsible to the city manager for the administrative and technical direction of the city’s human resources program. The human resources director administers and updates personnel policies and procedures, manages recruitment efforts to fill job vacancies, maintains official employment records, prepares and updates job classifications and salary ranges, administers the employee benefits programs, and ensures fair and equitable treatment of all employees and applicants.
