First and Main Project

The Lilburn Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has assembled five parcels at the southwest corner of First Avenue and Main Street over the past decade, creating a 2.61-acre site now ready for redevelopment.

At the August 12, 2024, City Council meeting, the DDA received approval for a mixed-use project featuring commercial space along Main Street and residential units on Velva Way. A Letter of Intent has been signed with Vision Home Crafters to partner on the residential portion of the project, while a commercial development partner has not yet been identified.

Lewis Contracting Services, LLC is expected to begin site development in early November 2025, with completion anticipated by mid-summer 2026. Once site work is complete, construction on the residential units will begin.

Please note that all plans and renderings are conceptual and subject to change based on field conditions, utility placement, permitting, and final construction documents.
