Here's this week's highlights:

The Lilburn Loop: November 3

Holiday Decorations Coming to Lilburn!

It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays! Over the next couple of weeks, Lilburn Public Works will be busy bringing festive touches to every corner of town.

You may notice crews installing:

  • Twinkling lights on the Calvin Fitchett Pavilion
  • The Christmas tree in Lilburn City Park
  • Shimmering snowflakes along Hwy 29 and Camp Creek Road
  • Garlands and ribbons on Main Street light poles
  • Bows and wreaths near City Hall and around the courtyard flagpole
  • And a bright blue Christmas tree at the Police Department

These decorations are a sure sign that the holiday season is right around the corner — and our city is getting ready to shine!

Lilburn Community Garden Update

A cherry on top of the sundae for the Lilburn Community Garden beautification project — string lights now twinkle above the seating area!

These new lights complete a series of recent improvements, including new shade sails, Adirondack chairs, and fresh landscaping. The finishing touches create a warm, welcoming space for volunteers and visitors to relax, connect, and enjoy the garden’s charm — day or night.

Honoring Our Veterans

In recognition of Veterans Day, the City of Lilburn’s Public Works Department will be placing veteran flags and memorial markers along Main Street to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.

We invite our residents to take a quiet stroll through Old Town, reflect on the sacrifices made by our veterans, and remember those who gave so much for our freedom.

Let’s take a moment, together, to honor their memory and express our gratitude.

If you would like to honor a loved one, please complete the form and return it to the city.
